Songwriting Success for Oliver Lodge!

All finalists in this competition are provided with the opportunity to have their song recorded in a professional recording studio to go on the 2023 Peace Song digital album. This is an incredibly exciting next step for Oliver who has had a number of successes in recent years with his songwriting and composition.

Play It Strange was established in 2003 and exists to provide pathways of creativity through songwriting for young people, as well as the recording, performance, and celebration of those songs. For the Peace Songwriting Competition, the theme of peace and non-violence could be interpreted broadly from inner personal peace, peace in the home and among families, to peace between people of the world.
