Mufti Day Fundraiser

By Staff | Posted: Wednesday February 22, 2023

Dear Parents and Whānau

We, as Trinity Catholic College, recognise the huge impact that cyclone Gabrielle has had on the schools of the North Island, especially those around the Hawkes Bay area.

So, we have decided to have a mufti day this Friday to raise money which will be donated to the Palmerston North diocese, who have created a fund to help the Catholic schools of that area get back on their feet.

Any amount of money you could give would be greatly appreciated.

All of the money will be collected from the students by their respective class leaders on Friday during pastoral time.

Kind regards
Cole Phillips and Jemma Mortimer

Kia ora e te whānau

Following on from Jemma and Cole’s message above regarding donations. Many of us are looking for a place to donate money for the people affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. While there have been many different options available, we would like to share the appeal below. It is through the Palmerston North Diocese and will help Catholic schools and Parishes in the Hawkes Bay area. If you wish to donate please follow the instructions.

Many thanks
TriciaJames
