Otago Primary School Swim Champs

On Sunday the 7th of April we had five students competing in the Otago Primary Schools Swimming Championships at Moana Pool.
The Trinity team was made up of Krista Jobin, Isla Harris, Phoebe Johannessen, Jake Lemon and Londen Louw-Young.
Highlights included Londen placing 5th in 50m freestyle and 4th in the 50m breaststroke for the 11 years olds, Isla placing 9th in the 50m freestyle and 9th in the 50m breaststroke for 12 years and over, Phoebe placing 7th in the 50 breaststroke for 12 years and over, and Jake placing 7th in the 50m freestyle for 11 year olds.
The Trinity team topped the day off by coming 3rd overall in the 12 years and over 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
These results are very impressive considering there were around 80 primary schools attending.
