Hey Trinity!!

Welcome back to week 6 of the newsletter, we hope your week so far has been filled with exciting activities and challenges

On Tuesday, August 22 it was the Feast day of the "Queenship of Mary" where we as Catholic Christians honour Mary as our Queen. It is a continuation of a tradition in Ancient Israel where the mother of a King who would rule by his side. She would be known as the "Gebriah" - Queen Mother, Queen of Israel, the woman with the highest authority.

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. ~ Revelation 12:1

The same woman in Revelations 12 gave birth to our King, Jesus.

This title reflects the belief that Mary's Queenly position is due to her obedience, humility, and role in God's plan of redemption. The Assumption of Mary, which refers to the belief that Mary was taken up, body and soul, into Heaven at the end of her earthly life, is a belief that's closely tied to her Queenship, as being assumed into Heaven is seen as a sign of her Queen status.

Now let us pray as prayer from the bible from the Angel Gabriel (Lk 1:28) and Mary’s relative Elizabeth (Lk 1:39-45)

“Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death, Amen”

Have a great rest of the week Trinity!! Enjoy the weekend and see y’all back next week!
