Netball fun day planned for Kahui ako Teacher Only Day

It's open to any keen netballers in Years 5-8, whether they currently play in a team or not. It is the same day as the Catholic Schools Kahui Ako Teachers Only Day. It's a great way for our younger netballers to develop their skills while having fun in a supportive environment instead of moping around at home! Great value at just $35 per child. Places are limited so sign up soon!

The plan for the day includes:

• Warming up and stretching out
• Fuel in=Fabulousness out- the nutritional needs of a young netballer
• Fast feet anyone? Footwork drills for fitness, skill development, and injury prevention
  
• The Glamour Zone: passing and catching - up high, down low, on the run, in the air...
• The dark arts of defence: marking your opponent, intercepting and pressuring the ball
• Teamwork ALWAYS makes the dreamwork
• Cross Training: some hip-hop fun or perfecting pilates
• Shooting for the Stars: discover your inner GS and GA
