Library

Open: 8:30am - 4:00pm

The library is the central hub of the school. It is the perfect place to come read, research and study. As a reflection of the special character of Trinity Catholic College, the library strives to provide resources that reflect our diverse community and our student's curriculum needs. In the library, we are passionate about literacy and student success.

Collection

We have an impressive collection of fiction and nonfiction, and many other resources, including an extensive e-book collection. We love to read! If you are stuck for something to read ask any of our team for help.

Technology

The library has wifi and you can print directly from your device. Every Thursday at lunchtime Nathan is available for any technical assistance you need. We have computers available for use as well as Chromebooks and laptops that can be borrowed.

Student Librarians

Students can gain their librarian badges by assisting in the library while developing their library skills.

Audiobooks

Our library is now available 24/7
Browse the collection at trinitylib.eplatform.co
You will need an app on your device to listen to these books offline.
We recommend the ePlatform by Wheelers app.

Library OPAC

Our Library online catalogue is so easy to use. Log on using your username and password and search our catalogue from anywhere. You can also renew your own books, suggest books to buy as well as reserving books and writing reviews.

EPIC

EPIC is a venture between New Zealand libraries and the Ministry of Education, giving schools free access to a worldwide range of electronic resources. Through EPIC schools can access databases containing thousands of international and New Zealand magazines, newspapers, biographies, substantial reference works, and images. EPIC lets you access up-to-date full text articles covering a huge range of subjects.

Ask one of the library team for the password.

Anyquestions.co.nz

We offer online schoolwork help to New Zealand school students. Via the AnyQuestions.co.nz website, you can log on between 1pm and 6pm Monday to Friday and talk to a real person about your schoolwork.

Our Librarians are specially trained to help you find the answers you need (without giving you the answers of course!). Also, for those times our Librarians are not online, you can visit ManyAnswers.co.nz, which has answers to commonly asked questions here on AnyQuestions.
