Dunedin Primary Schools Gifted and Talented Programme 2017

A great opportunity for students to participate in the Primary Gifted and Talented Programme at the New Zealand Marine Studies Centre.

Each school is eligible for two students to apply and attend. These students should be identifiable as Gifted or Talented and are curious and show a keen interest in the world around them. 


The programme consists of: 

- Students being placed in research teams. Each team is mentored by a     postgraduate student.

- Students will conduct a research project of their design.

- Students will present findings at the end of the programme to peers, family and others.

- Students will reflect on their thinking and learning during the research process.

- The 4-day programme is strong in a Key Competencies and the Nature of Science Strand.


Dates: 8th, 15th,22nd and 28th of September.

Cost: $275 (excl. GST) per student for the 4 days.
