Head Boy - Nick Parata

I came to Kavanagh College in Year 7 from St Peter Chanel School, a school of around 60 students at the time. I have two older sisters who have both attended Kavanagh College. I am an avid sports person playing many sports, the main two being hockey and cricket and I am looking at picking up basketball this year as well. I also love to help out around the junior school, including coaching the Year 7 & 8 Hockey Team, helping out at Peer Mentoring and Peer Support. Next year I would like to study Physical Education at University and later go on to become a Sports Scientist. My favourite thing about Kavanagh would have to be Kavanagh Day for the enthusiasm and energy shared by everyone, the amazing sense of community within the school and going through my seven years of High School with an amazing year group. I am a proud and loyal member of McAuley House and my goals as Head Prefect of Kavanagh College this year are:

- Encouraging and endorsing school spirit within many categories at school (promoting four Core Values, wearing uniform, sports)

- Push sport at Kavanagh more so we can compete against the top schools in more than one sport.

- To be the best me I can be!!
